Our Story
A family business in the Bitterroot Valley
Brown's Greenhouse has been a fixture of the Bitterroot Valley for four decades. What started as a family passion for growing has become one of the region's trusted sources for locally grown flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruit plants.
Four generations of the Brown family work the greenhouse — from planning varieties in winter to helping customers pick the perfect tomato in June. We know Montana's short growing season, the late frosts, and the dry summers, because we've been at it for nearly 40 years.
Every variety we carry is hand-selected for this climate. That means hardier plants that are ready for your garden, whether you're in Missoula, Hamilton, or anywhere in between.
